Niabh McGlynn Jewellery
 Niabh McGlynn is a young, talented and already very successful artist, designing contemporary Irish jewellery. Niabh trained under the Craft Council of Ireland and is based in Furbo, County Galway. Her jewellery combines brushed, textured and highly polished finishes. She works primarily with silver and silver embellished with gold. More recently her work also features precious stones, including diamonds and aquamarines. |

 Niabh McGlynn Cleopatra Pendants (NMG1,2,3)
This collection is influenced by the ancient Egyptian composition of Cleopatra's sumptuous gold collars. The pendants features five strands of silver decorated with either 9ct gold beads, aquamarines or peridots.

 Niabh McGlynn Oyster Pendant with Matching Earrings (NMG4,5)
This is a truly beautiful piece of ocean inspired art: a brushed silver oyster shell, embellished with a tiny fresh water pearl. It hangs elegantly on the collar bone from a silver hallmarked snake chain. It can be bought separately or as part of a set with matching earrings, which sit neatly on the ear lobe.

 Niabh McGlynn Mermaid Pendant and Torso Earrings (NMG6,7)
Apart from the wonderful Oyster shell pendant (already featured above), here we have two more contemporary pieces from Niabh for you. On the left is the Mermaid pendant with diamond in sterling silver. The surface of the metal has a half brushed, half polished finish and features a tiny diamond in the centre. The piece hangs on a hallmarked snake chain.
In the middle is a set of Torso earrings, implying an abstract portrayal of the female form, yet also echoing the fish tail of a sea nymph...

This piece shows a curvaceous mermaid designed to wind elegantly around the wearer's finger linking head to tail. The surface of the metal has a half brushed, half polished finish and features a tiny cheeky diamond in the centre of the torso.  Niabh McGlynn Cufflinks (NMG14,15)
Niabh's range also includes something exclusive for him: cufflinks made from beautifully polished sterling silver, with a small stripe of 9ct gold and finally, inspired by the razorfish which is commonly found in the Irish waters, Niabh designed a "rough" sea pattern on top of the polished silver. A creative masterpiece.
